Single-family homes in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam are selling at a quicker pace?now than they were last year, according to?a new report released by the Hudson Gateway Association of Relators.
Real estate data shows all three counties saw a boost in second-quarter 2013 sales when compared to second-quarter 2012 sales. The Hudson Gateway group?a collection of realtors in the tri-county region, and Orange County?collected and culled the data.
The second-quarter?breakdown:
Westchester:?
- 1,151?single-family houses sold in 2012?
- 1,425 sold in 2013?
- 23.8 percent increase
Rockland:?
- 292?single-family houses sold in 2012?
- 313 sold in 2013?
- 7.2 percent increase
Putnam:?
- 160?single-family houses sold in 2012?
- 177 sold in 2013?
- 10.6 percent increase
